Carole S. Pacosky, age 71, of Hammond entered into the gates of heaven on Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John V. Pacosky; two daughters: Joanna (Robert) Holland and Debra (Christopher) Hicks; three grandchildren: Linsi, Madeline and Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents: Herbert and Muriel Norton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. directly at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, 7113 Columbia Avenue, Hammond with Father Richard Orlinski celebrant. Burial will be private at Elmwood cemetery, Hammond. There will be a time of viewing prior to the mass at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Carole was born in Chicago, IL on June 19, 1945 and shortly after moved to Hammond where she has spent her entire life. She was a faithful member of St. John Bosco Church. She retired from School City of Hammond as Secretary. Carole was a member of the Order of Amaranth and was a past Grand Royal Matron for the State of Indiana. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading, knitting and cross-stitching. Carole was a kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.
