Catherine Marie Davich, age 94, of Hessville, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

Survived by her 2 children, Michael Davich Jr. and Catherine (Bruce) Lavin; four grandchildren: Richard (Heather East) Davich, Steven (Kelly) Davich, Robert Lavin and Daniel (Michelle) Lavin; four great grandchildren: Matthew and Stuart Davich, Tyler and Kelsey Lavin; niece, Margie Adams, nephews: Joseph and John Spudic and numerous friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Helen Spudic; loving husband of 50 years, Michael Davich Sr., brothers: John and Joe Spudic and one sister Lucy Galovic.

 Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 DIRECTLY at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with visitation from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Hammond.

 Kitty was a life long resident of the Calumet area and was a graduate of All Saints High School in Hammond. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church for over 50 years and past member of the Altar Rosary Society and many other ministry groups. She cherished her grandchildren and was amazing in the kitchen. Kitty was tiny but mighty, and had a great sense of humor.
