J. Frances Croft, age 91, of Hammond, entered into the gates of heaven on Sunday, February 12, 2017 while surrounded by her loved ones.

 She is survived by her loving daughter Regina (Dale) Westmoreland, Hammond; son in law Troy Asher, Hammond; three grandchildren: Michael (Kim) Asher, Valparaiso, Tamara (Albert) Trajkovski, Winamac, Nathaniel Westmoreland, Griffith; six great grandchildren: Kyle, Dakota, Colton, Trajkovski, Hayley and Michael Asher II and Ava Westmoreland; honorary mother to Diane Jones and Shirley Mahler; numerous nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her husband Raymond Croft; parents, Virgil and Lillian Bullock; daughter, Deanna Asher; two brothers: Forrest and Rev. Bradley Bullock.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation from 4:00 p.m. until the service at 7:00 p.m., DIRECTLY at Zion Holiness Church, 707-169th St., Hammond with Rev. Richard Westmoreland officiating.

Graveside service will take place on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 12:45 p.m. at Union Temple Cemetery, St. Charles, KY with Pastors Richard Westmoreland and Steve Epley officiating.

Frances was born in Christian County, KY on May 20, 1925. She has been a resident of Hammond since 1959.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in the yard and was an excellent cook. Frances was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and her church, a founding member of Zion Holiness Church; she was a song leader, taught Sunday school and loved being involved. Frances has worked for Butler Furniture Co., Simmons Mattress Co., Woolworth lunch counter and retired from the Zayre Co. She loved taking trips and spending time with friends.
