Patricia Irene Watson, age 88, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2017.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Santos and son-in-law, John Alan Santos; three grandchildren:

John, January and Josuaha Santos; one sister, Helen Hoffrogge; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends;

 Preceded in death by her husband, George O. Watson; parents, Orval and Lillian Bowker; sisters: Emma Joann Strickland, Margaret Trent, Ruth Begeska, Laura Bowker and one broher, Orval “Gene” Bowker.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave, Hammond (Hessville). Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, January 3rd at Bocken Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Patricia was born in Evansville, IN and has lived in Hammond for over 60 years. She was a longtime faithful member of the First Church of Christ in Indiana Harbor. Patricia was a wonderful Christian lady who loved her lord and her church family. She enjoyed going to church, cooking, ice skating and loved to watch the Chicago Cubs.

Patricia was a loving mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to know her.
