May Delores (nee Whiting) Christensen, age 91, of St. Cloud, FL formerly of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2010. May was born on August 28, 1918 in Whiting, IN to William and Orpha Whiting.
She is survived by one daughter, Rhea (Edward) Smallwood

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 10 a.m. DIRECTLY at Covenant Presbyterian Church,
6709 Arizona Avenue, (Hessville) Hammond. Burial will follow at RidgelawnCemetery in Gary, IN. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, June 26th at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m.
May had been an active member of CovenantPresbyerianChurch for over 45 years, where she taught Sunday school for 20 years, was Past President of the Loyal Philathea Class, Missionary Society and the Women’s Association. She was employed by Standard Equipment & Supply Co. in Hammond, IN as a secretary for 25 years. May was currently a member of St. Cloud Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud, FL.
