Alice J. Shelton, age 82 of Hessville, was called home to the Lord on Thursday July 8, 2010 surrounded by her family in her residence.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 yrs Dallas E. Shelton.

David (Debi) Shelton of Grandledge, MI.
Dale (Sherrie) Shelton of Hayward, WI and
Steven (Marisela) Shelton of Hammond.
14 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren. Brother Herbert Crouch of Beverly Hills, FL, and Sister In Law Aurelia Crouch of Naples, FL
Preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Zerilla Crouch (Nee Gottfried), and Brothers Charles Crouch and Lewis Crouch, Sister Etta Thompson and Sister In Law Eliana Crouch.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at 3 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Nathan Watson officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, July 11th at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6- 8 PM.
A graveside service will be held on Monday July 12,2010 at 12 Noon directly at Gottfried Cemetery, Billet, IL with Pastor Nelson Riber officiating.
Alice was born on October 12,1927 in Billet,IL . She was a former member of Hessville Baptist Church. . Alice loved working in her flower garden, fishing, playing cards, wildlife, reading scripture, visiting with family and cook outs. She loved her Poodles while she had them.
