Lenora E. Liming (Nee Myers), age 86, of Hammond, was called home to heaven peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday morning July 13,2010. Lenora is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 67 years Robert M. “Bob”Liming. Son James (Linda) Liming. Five Grandchidren; Jim Liming, Donnie Liming, Tracy (Matt) Zander, Michael (Heather) Liming, Tim (Heather) Liming and 10 Great Grandchildren.Three Brothers in law Harold Liming, Bud (Barb) Liming and Joe (Joyce) Liming, Two Sisters in law Mildred VanGorp and Helen VanScoyk. Numerous Nieces and Nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents,Leonard and Fern Myers. son; Donald Liming and Brother Louis Myers Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10 AM DIRECTLY at Hessville Assembly of God Church 7350 Kennedy Ave. Hessville, with Rev. James Gottel and Rev. Raymond Bocken officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday July 15,2010 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) and on Friday from 9am until 10am at Hessville Assembly of God Church. Lenora was born and raised in Monroe City, IN where she married Bob at the age of Eighteen they then moved to the Northwest Indiana region . She had worked as a seamstress in the Highland Department Store and Robert Hall. Lenora was a Charter member of Hessville Assembly of God Church where she took part in the Seniors Ministry. She enjoyed Sewing and making clothing for her self and others. Memorials in her memory may be made to Hessville Assembly of God Church and would be appreciated.
