Kimberly A. (Hosler) Massie

Kimberly Ann Massie, 59, passed away unexpectedly June 20, 2019 of cardiac arrest. Kimberly was born in North Aurora, IL to Donald and Ann Hosler on January 15, 1960.
Kim graduated from West Aurora High School in 1978, then attended Waubonsee School of Nursing. She was also a member of Union Congregational Church before she moved to Indiana. When Kim met the love of her life she relocated to Hammond, IN and married Chuck Massie on June 19th 1982. She later graduated from Creative Hair Academy in Highland, IN. Kim worked at various salons before realizing her vision and owning her own business and salon herself. Kim was a loving mother, daughter, and devoted wife. She was an amazing friend and person to all who met her and will be dearly missed. After her beloved husband Chuck passed 3 months ago, it is believed that she left us because of a broken heart and just wanted to be with her love. Resting at peace now they can now be together for eternity. Give Dad a hug and kiss for all of us mom, and we all will rest a little easier knowing you two are together.
Kimberly is preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Massie on March 22nd, 2019, her father, Donald Hosler who passed January 10th, 2014 and brother Keith Hosler who passed November 22nd, 1996.
Kimberly is survived by her mother Ann Hosler, North Aurora, IL, her three children, Heidi (Frank) Montiel, Kenosha,WI, Nicole Massie, Hammond,IN and Charles Massie of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Alexia (Massie)
Seiler, Indianapolis, IN. Kim was a loving grandmother and is survived by her seven grandchildren, Mark, Matthew, and Luke Montiel, Kenosha, WI, Charlotte Massie, Hammond, IN, and Rhegan, Hailey, and Logan Seiler of Indianapolis, IN. In addition Kim is survived by her brother-in-law, Curt Massie, Hammond, IN, sister-in-law, Cheryl Hanshaw, Wooster, OH, and mother-in-law Joanne Cohen, Hammond, IN. Kim is also survived by many dear friends, uncles, aunts, and nieces nephews and cousins,
Memorial services will be held at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, IN 46323 on Sunday June 23,2019 from 2p.m.-4p.m.
