Mary Jessie Frazier, age 81, of Manchester, TN formerly of Hammond passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2, 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Morris Frazier; five children: Danny (Esther) Wilson, Ronnie (Sue) Wilson, Thomas (Shannon) Wilson, Debbie (Jerry) Whitmore and Theresa (Lloyd) Rowe; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; two siblings: Clara (Harry) Harvey and Roy Ferrell; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Wilson; parents: Lawson and Mary Ferrell; siblings: Rosalee Cawthron, Frances Qualls, Ruby Nettles, Horace Ferrell and little brother Jimmy Lee.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Manchester Funeral Home 214 East Main Street, Manchester, TN 37355. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery in Beechgrove, TN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, March 7th, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Manchester Funeral Home.

Jessie was born and raised in Manchester; she came up to Hammond 54 years ago to work, and after retirement moved back to Manchester until recently. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers and was an awesome cook. Jessie was very likeable and never met a person she didn’t get along with. She was a mother figure to many. Mary was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
