Samuel Crowley, age 71, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sharon Crowley; son, Jeff (Amy) Crowley of Munster and daughter, Lisa Crowley of Hammond;

Two grandchildren: Eric Wojciechowski and Emma Crowley; three brothers: Bob (Cindy) Crowley of Jacksonville, FL, Joe Crowley of Hammond, Gary (Christy) Crowley of Crown Point; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Louise Crowley and brother, Danny.

Sam was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a graduate of Hammond Tech High School and Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago. Sam was employed at LTV Steel for 27 years in the Tin Mill and seven years at US Steel in the Tin Mill.

Sam enjoyed entering his 1933 PU Truck in local car shows. Sam loved spending time with his family and was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.

A Private Memorial Service will be at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
