Sharon Frances Pauer age 82, of Hammond entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 23, 2018.
She is survived by her children: Cheryl Anne (Michael) O’Connell, Christine Marie Bernotus and Timothy Paul (Sandra) Pauer;

grandchildren: Daniel (Angela) Bernotus, Brenda (Richard) Merschantz, Erica ( W. Alex) Smith, John Pauer, Rachel Pauer, Julia O’Connell and Andrew O’Connell:

 great grandchildren; Landon and Payton Bernotus and Collin Merschantz.
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, Thomas Paul Pauer; parents, William and Violet Wild.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Christopher McIntire officiating at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Sunday, January 28th from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.

Sharon has lived in Hammond for her entire life She and her late husband enjoyed Square Dancing and were members the Pollywogs Square Dance Club for over 40 years. She loved to cook and bake goodies for her family and many friends. Sharon was a past girl scout leader and Hammond PTA member. Sharon was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and “Gigi” who will be dearly missed.
