Adan Cadena, age 61, of Gary, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

He is survived by his siblings: Alicia (Carlos) Pantoja, Arturo Cadena and Abel (Laura) Cadena; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and his best friend Tony (Lisa) Turner

Adan was proceeded in death by his wife: Hope; parents Manuel and Clementina Cadena; brothers: Alfred and Arnoldo Cadena.

Adan was a lifelong resident Gary and was a graduate of Gary Westside High School. He enjoyed working on cars and could fix just about anything. Throughout his life, Donnie was a dedicated and hardworking man. He spent many years employed in East Chicago, where he worked in railroad maintenance at CF Rail Service. His commitment to his craft and strong sense of responsibility left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
