Alfonso Garcia Jr age 79 of Chicago passed away peacefully on Saturday April 7, 2012. Loving husband of 44 years to Elsa Garcia (Nee Sanchez). Devoted father of Bob (Lupe) Garcia, Monica (Omar) Macias, Rick, Alfonso III, and David Garcia and Celina (Kevin) O'Brien.
Fond grandfather of 10.
Brother of Frank, Johnny, Mary, Carmen and Ellena.

A funeral service to celebrate the life of Alfonso will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2012 at 3pm Directly at Ravenswood Baptist Church 4455 North Seeley Avenue, Chicago, IL 60625 with Dr. Phil Stringer officiating. Private cremation to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Wednesday at Ravenswood Baptist Church from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 3pm. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bocken Funeral Home (219)844-1600.
