Amelia M. Rosek, age 75, of Hessville, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

She is survived by four children: Rhonda (Dan) Outler, Tina (Wayne) Miley, Kenneth Rosek and Joseph Rosek; four grandchildren: Daniel C. Outler, Kristy (Rick) Larson, Chad A. Miley and Christopher Thompson; two great-grandchildren: Brooklyn and Bailey Larson; two brothers: Roger (Margaret) Huebner and Dennis (Georgette) Huebner; one sister, Sally (George) Huizenga, numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John Rosek; parents, Logan and Evangeline Huebner; brother, Duane (Maryann) Huebner; sisters: Ruth (Wilbur) Hatzung, Charlotte (Keith) Ploeger, Heloise (Walmer) Barhman and Midge's twin Jean Louise Huebner.

A memorial gathering will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with a celebration of life service at 7 p.m.

Midge has been a resident of the area for the past 56 years.  Her hobbies included woodworking, crocheting, painting and crafting. She was a great cook and enjoyed gardening and family gatherings. Midge was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all those that knew her.
