Anna Meza, age 55 of East Chicago passed away peacefully at the Riley Hospice on Thursday, April 25, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Diane Contreras and Cindy Feliciano;
2 brothers: Berney Falls and Jesse Briones, Jr.;
Longtime soulmate, Demis Rodriquez
Preceded in death by her mother, Rita Robledo;
father, Jesse Briones; 2 sisters, Susan Martinez and Laura Puentez; 2 nephews, Danny Contreras and D'Angelo Feliciano.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Anna was a very independent woman, very energetic,  always smiling, always encouraging others. After a one year battle with cancer she was ready to meet her Lord.
Anna was our "energizer bunny" and will be missed by all who knew her. "May she rest in peace."
