Anna Mary Jaksich, age 94, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.

She is survived by her children: Stephen (Nancy) Jaksich, Maryann (late Gregory) Peres and Kathleen (Richard) Bomersback; grandchildren: David (Melanie), Melissa (Joseph), Nick, Steven (Loren) and Zack; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Anna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, John "Jack" Jaksich; her parents, Oscar and Annie Nelson; great grandchild, William; numerous siblings.

Friends are invited to join the family for a graveside inurnment service directly at St. John Cemetery, 1547-167th St. Hammond, IN 46320 on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Bocken Funeral Home entrusted with cremation and inurnment arrangements.

Anna has been a resident of Hammond for the past 80 years. She was a past parishioner and Rosary Society member at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Anna enjoyed cooking and gardening and will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
