Arthur Vernon Leach, age 80, of Gary, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
He is survived one son: Robert (Rhonda) Leach; three grandchildren: Marquisha (Jamie) Sherrod, Melissa (Antjuon) Jetter and Joshua Sumrall; seven great grandchildren; one brother in-law: Glen (Judy) Brown; niece, Irene (Roger) Brown.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Geneva "Bebe" Leach (Nee Brown); parents, Charles and Nelba Leach; sister: Rosemary (Manuel) Gonzalez; brother: Calvin (Doris) Petrick.

Funeral services were private at the request of Mr. Leach.

Art was a long time resident of Gary, Indiana. He was retired from U.S. Steel and a member of the Mexican Moose Club in Gary. Art was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed listening to Jazz music. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and was dearly loved by his family and many friends.
