Baby Evelyn Bella Giron, age 2, of Gary, was carried away by the angels on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 with her loving family at her side. Eva was a fighter to the end.

Leaving to mourn her memory are her parents: Benito and Rebecca; little brother Benito Andres; grandparents: Benito Giron, Dalia (Orlando Valdez) Merino, and Elizabeth Walker; great grandparents: Rosalinda and Jerry; great great grandparents: Guadalupe and Mario. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Eva's short life was filled with joy and brought joy to all who knew her. She loved shopping, dancing and playing with her little brother.  Eva liked watching Daniel Tiger and Curious George. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
