Barbara Angelena Robare, age 71, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 11, 2024. She was welcomed home by her son William Robare IV and he beloved of 21 years, Grampa Bubba; survived by three grandchildren: William "Billy" Robare, Damien "DJ" Robare and Tyler Hendron; two sisters: Gay Ellen (Christopher) Brown and Roberta Smith; one brother, Thomas Cutrara; several nieces, nephews, friends and her furry companion Champ.  Preceded in death by her parents: August and Dorothy Mae Cutrara.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday Morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m.

Barb was born in Chicago but was a longtime resident of Hammond. She worked as a clerk at Strack and VanTil grocery store for several years. Barb enjoyed spending time with her family and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and lifelong friend to many and will be deeply missed.
