Beatrice Saenz Quintanilla, age 88 of East Chicago, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 16, 2012. The fairest of 14 siblings born in Mercedes, Texas on June 28, 1924 to Bernardo and Francisca Sanez.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 glorious years Mario F. Quintanilla Sr.
Children: Cynthia Q. Sosby and Mario F. (Carolyn) Quintanilla Jr.
Grandchildren: Steven Rasala, Rebecca (Paul) Luebcke and Edwin Sosby.
Great grandchildren;Victoria, Lathan and Arianna.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Msgr. John Siekierski officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville.  Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Bocken Funeral Home from 4pm- 8pm.
Bea worked as a cashier at the Azteca Restaurant in Weslaco, TX where she met her future husband Mario. They married May 6, 1951 and moved to Indiana where they made their home the past 60 years. She loved to dance "the Jitter Bug". Guerra was a "smart dresser" she excelled in the arts and crafts and made costumes and decorations for friends and families special events .She formerly attended St. John Cantius Catholic. Bea loved participating in school activities, spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always very loving and kindhearted and gave 100 percent of herself in all she did. She gave us all her love and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
