Bessie M. Cloud, age 104, of Hammond entered into the gates of heaven on Saturday, July 6, 2013.
She is survived by three grandchildren:  James (Marciel) Kiser, Linda (Steven) Stidham and Marc (Tamera) Kiser;
Great grandchildren:  Chris, Melissa, Thomas, Joshua, Matthew, Jonathan, Corrisa, Hanna and Trevor. Great great grandchildren Timothy, Aaron, Lindsay, Lacey, Isabella and Krystiana;
Numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Orland Cloud; daughter, Flora Mae and son-in-law, Bobbie Kiser; Parents, George and Sarah Price and great great grandchild, Ethan.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Dan Nichols, Minister officiating.  Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens  in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Wednesday morning, July 10th  at Bocken Funeral Home from  9:30 a.m.
Bessie has been a resident of the Calumet Area since 1926. She has been a longtime faithful member of South Side Christian Church.  Bessie was a faithful Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible and praying daily.  Bessie was an avid Gardner and when she lived in her home it was always filled with her beautiful flowers. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that memorials be made to your local hospice.
