Bette Bell, age 90, of Wakarusa, formerly of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2014.

She is survived by 3 children: Leslie (Roger) Sheline,

Charles (Roberta) Bell,

Carol Sue (Donald) Jenkins;

9 grandchildren;

14 great grandchildren;

one sister-in-law, Bonnie Crumn; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Bette was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Bell; parents, Arthur and Harriet Llewellyn;

One brother, Reggie Llewellyn;

3 sisters: Theresa Burger, Elsie Boker and Velma Brennan.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at 11:30 a.m . directly at Life Point_Church , 7350 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastors David Lade and Orlando Soler.  Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation at the church Friday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:30 a.m.

Bette was a longtime resident of Hammond before moving to Elkhart in 2001. She was a longtime, faithful member of Life Point Church, formerly Hessville Assembly of God, where she was actively involved. Bette taught Sunday School for many years and was S.S. Superintendent, faithful member of the Women's Missionary Group and was the Director for the State of Indiana. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and many friends. Bette was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her. Memorials may be made in Bette's memory to Life Point Church or Assembly of God Missions.
