Beula L. "Boots" Stultz, age 88, of Hammond, IN passed away peacefully on February 27, 2017. She is survived by her three loving children: Carl Stultz, Thomas (Beth) Stultz, and daughter Dorothy (Jim) Hamilton; six loving grandchildren: Carol (Jeff) Dixon, Steven (Traci) Stultz, Laura (Chris) Fisher, Jennifer (David) Sheridan, Melissa (Jon) Knowlton, and Catherine Stultz; fifteen precious great-grandchildren: Nathan Fisher, Paige Fisher, Jordan Dixon, Jillian Dixon, Juliette Dixon, Jake Stultz, Bailey Stultz, Logan Stultz, Colton Sheridan, Landon Sheridan, Paisley Sheridan, Connor Knowlton, Parker Knowlton, Wyatt Knowlton, Gracie Knowlton and one sister: Virginia Snyder; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Paul J. "PJ" Stultz; parents: Kenneth and Margaret Pippenger; two brothers: Alonzo and Chauncey Pippenger.
Boots was a longtime resident of the Hammond area and a graduate of Hammond High School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her young grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a green thumb and enjoyed growing Roses, Peonies and many other flowers. She loved sewing on her old black Singer sewing machine. Beula was faithful to her church, singing in the choir, attending mother-daughter banquets and participating in madrigals. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 6709 Arizona Avenue, Hammond, IN 46323 from 9:00am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Pastor James A. Thomson officiating. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W.
