Bobby L. Kinney, Sr. age 70, of Greencastle, IN formerly of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his two sons: Bobby Kinney, Jr. of Rockville, IN and Mark (Angie) Kinney of Hammond;

one daughter, Michele Kinney of Kentucky

5 grandchildren: Karissa, Dustin, Brandon, Karah and Jacob; one great grandchild, NaSiya;

three brothers: John "J.C.", Emmett and Ray Maxwell Kinney; three sisters: Betty Owens, Anita Grimler and Donna Lilly; numerous nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis A. Kinney; granddaughter, Kayla Kinney and his parents Arnold and Beulah Kinney.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 28, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Paul Ellis officiating. Private cremation will follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 2pm until 4pm.

Bobby was a lifetime resident of the Calumet Area.

He was the chocolate cook for the Premier Candy Co. in Hammond and retired after 20 years of service.

Bobby loved fishing and spending time with his family.

He was a loyal Chicago Cubs fan.
