Bobby Lee Middleton, age 85, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2015.
He is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Patty J. Middleton (nee Eden); four children: Sonja, Tony, Angela and Kevin (Deanna) Middleton; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Preceded in death by parents, George and Ida Middleton; two sisters: Irene McCallister and Anna Nichols; two brothers: George Jr. and Billy Ray Middleton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. from Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Orlando Soler, officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family for visitation on Thursday, May 7, 2015 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.

Bobby was born in Boonville, IN on October 27,1929. He has made his home in the Hammond area for the past 54 years. Bobby was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. He retired from Commercial Wallpaper Co. after working for over 20 years as a machine operator. Bobby enjoyed riding his Harley, tinkering around the garage, working on his home and visiting friends and family in Boonville. Bobby was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and loyal friend and will be missed by all who knew him.
