Carol Lipkovitch, age 82, of Hammond entered into the presence of the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2024.

She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 64 years: John Lipkovitch; son, Edward (Cathy) Lipkovitch of Burns Harbor; daughter, Mary (Mike) Poore of Indianapolis; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Hal and Mary Stice; daughter: Linda and her twins: James and Julie. As well as her beloved dog: Buster.

Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation on Friday, May 24th from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond IN 46323.

Carol was born in Whiting, but a long-time resident of Hessville. Carol found joy in creativity; especially ceramics, sewing, painting and really anything crafty. Her nurturing, kind and giving spirit went well beyond her crafts, touching the lives of many and especially her grandchildren who were the light of her life.
