Carolyn J. Harrington, age 81, of Hammond, entered the gates of heaven on Monday, July 31, 2017. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Paul E. Harrington; four children: Barbara (Ken) Segel, Julie (Sam) Mathias, James Harrington and Timothy (Laura) Harrington;

Grandchildren: Zachary, Joshua and Abigail Segel, Mallory Wagner, Tyler and MacKenzie Harrington; sister, Ruth Wagmiller; and many nieces nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, James and Helen Hoopes; twin daughters: Catherine Anne and Patricia Anne Harrington and sister, Marjorie Hiscox.

Friends are invited to celebrate Carolyn's life on Saturday, August 19, 2017. A gathering with the family will take place from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church 935 E. State, Salem, Ohio with Father Bob Edwards, officiating. Inurnment at Grandview Cemetery, Salem, Ohio.

Carolyn was born and raised in Salem and has been a long time resident of Hammond who attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
