Carolyn E. Riedl, age 71, of Hammond entered into the gates of Heaven on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

She is survived by her son Barry Riedl, siblings: Emil Landis, Ken Landis and Christine Gumber; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Riedl; parents, Emil and Eva Landis.

To honor the wishes of Carolyn, private cremation will take place with no memorial service.

Carolyn was a longtime member of the region; she previously lived in Delavan WI and was a native of Stickney IL. She enjoyed walking and being out in nature. She was a devoted mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed.
