Casimir "Casey" Robert Marulic, age 87, of Schererville, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Dolores Anne Marulic (nee Canady); daughter; Sharon (Terence) Trapane; son, Richard (Elizabeth) Marulic; three grandchildren: Paul (Emily) Przybylski, Terence (Isabel) Trapane II, and Jonathan (Alyssa) Trapane; one great grandchild, Brittany Przybylski; many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Natale and Catherine Marulic; one son, Robert Przybylski; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. directly at Concordia Lutheran Church, 7441 Grand Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Ronald Saatkamp officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Monday, June 12th from 3:00 PM. until 7:00 P.M. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) and Tuesday morning at Concordia Lutheran Church from 9:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M

Casey was a native of Indiana Harbor and a resident of the Schererville area since 1980.  Casey was a faithful active member of Concordia Lutheran Church. He retired from the Brick Layers Union Local #6. Casey was a proud U. S. Army veteran serving as a paratrooper during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, woodcarving and family gatherings. Casey was a devoted loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed.
