Christine Ann Ladd, age 45, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

She leaves to mourn her loss one sister: Susan Mahoney; niece: Shannon Mahoney; nephew: Steven Leonard; fiance: Frank Knapik; long time best friend Sheila Miley; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Loretta Leonard; brother, Steve Leonard;

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, September  13 , 2016 from 3 :00 p.m. until the time of the service 7:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.

Chris was a lifetime resident of Hammond, and a 1989 Morton High School Graduate. She was employed at the School City of Hammond as a bus driver.

Chris was a loving sister, aunt and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
