Christopher Willie Manzella, age 22, of Hammond passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
Chris was the beloved son of Jeffrey and Sandra (nee, Rouse) Manzella;
devoted brother of Nicholas, Nathan, Jacob and late, Michael;
loving grandson of maternal grandparents, Willie Taylor and Patricia Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Anthony Manzella and the late, Katherine Manzella; maternal great grandmother, Martha Norton; adoring aunts and uncle, Mary Boileve, Cynthia Napper and Anthony Manzella; one niece, Madison Rouse; many loving cousins and dear friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Father Gerry Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery in Hammond. Friends are invited to meet the family on Sunday, January 8th from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home.
Chris was born on October 18, 1989 in Chicago, IL and raised in Joliet, IL before moving to the Hessville section of Hammond 9 years ago. He was a 2007 graduate of Morton High School. Chris was a welder and worked at Tri State Industries. He loved to draw and play basketball and video games with his friends, he was affectionately called "Snowflake".
Chris was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson and nephew who will be dearly missed and loved so very much.
