Christopher A. Rodriguez, age 45, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 19, 2018.

Survived by his daughter, Kiersten; father, Eugene M. Rodriguez Sr. (stepmother Linda); three brothers: Mark, Anthony (Corey) and Brian Rodriguez; nieces and nephews: Taylor, Kobe, Maxwell and Tate Rodriguez; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Preceded in death by his loving mother Darlyne "Dee" Rodriguez; nephew, Simon Rodriguez.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 9 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond (Hessville) followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7132 Arizona Avenue, Hammond, IN (Hessville) with Rev. Charles Mosley celebrant. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery, Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family from at Bocken Funeral Home at 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday.

Chris was a life long resident of Hammond. He was a member of Laborers Local 81 union and of the Izaak Walton League. Chris was an avid hunter, fisherman and a master outdoorsman. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
