C. L. Hedden, Jr. age 65, of Hammond,IN, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2015.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Fuasinapi Hedden;

4 children: Roy (Lisa) Hedden,

Jeff (Ella) Miller,

Filiki Hedden and

Leah (Darius) Shriver;

6 grandchildren: Margaret (Grant) Davis, Gunner Hedden,

Ieon Harvey, Zariah Harvey, Noah and Dylan Miller;

4 siblings: Dawn Kovach, Rita Reynolds,

Kevin (Robin) Hedden, Keith (Tammi) Hedden;

Numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, C.L., Sr. and Mattie Hedden; one sister, Queen Esther Hedden.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of C.L. Hedden, Jr. will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Hessville Bible Church. 6518 Grand Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).

C.L. was born in Owensboro, KY on October 19, 1949 and moved to the Hessville section of Hammond over 55 years ago. He attended Hammond Tech High School and was a member of Hessville Bible Church. C. L. enlisted in the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country in Vietnam. For many years he worked on the I.H.B. Railroad as a machinist. He was a member of Garfield Lodge #569 F.&A.M. He enjoyed fishing, building model airplanes and cars,golfing, playing board games, computer games and watching "Dr. Who". His favorite pastime was spending time with his family; he adored his grandchildren.

C.L. was a loving husband and father, a devoted grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
