The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 A.M. with Dan Nichols, Minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana.
Connie was born and raised in the Calumet area. For over 12 years, she was a featured columnist on the "Spiritual Focus" page of the Northwest Indiana Times. Connie also regularly wrote a column for the Christian magazine, Restoration Herald. It was the delight of her life to be able to encourage others with stories from her own ministry and the lives of others who inspired her. She taught the high school Sunday school class for over 30 years and her puppet ministry was enjoyed by "little ones" for over 20 years in Children's Church. Connie blessed many lives throughout her life, and she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
