Connie Mae Earl, age 71, of Hammond entered eternal life on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

She is survived by her longtime companion Nick Kordich; two children: daughter Kimberly (Pedro Baez) Hensley and son, Michael (Sarah) Earl; five grandchildren: Ryan, Joshua, Hannah, Emma and Kyle; one brother, Kenneth (Jeanie) Harrison; one sister, Carol (Charlie) Seale; numerous brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Wayne Earl; her parents, Buford and Lula Mae Harrison; one sister, Barbara Haney.

In accordance with her wishes private cremation services were entrusted to Bocken Funeral Home 7042 Kennedy Ave. Hammond, IN 46323.

Connie has been a longtime resident of Hammond. She waitressed at Jim's Diner and also worked at Roxanna Grocery Store.   Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, gardening and going to the Casinos. In lieu flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.donate.cancer.org. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff of Tranquility Hospice for their compassionate care of Connie in her last days.
