Curtis Leroy Sutton, age 88, of Hammond, entered into eternal life on Sunday, January 3, 2016. He is survived by 5 children: Anthony, Rickie (Sandra), Gregory, Linda and Chrissy Sutton.  Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. nieces, nephews and good friends. Preceded in death by his beloved wife of 41 years, Etta Kate Sutton; parents, Roy and Sylvia Sutton.

Funeral Services and burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery were private.

Curt was a longtime resident of the Calumet Area.  He was retired from Ford Motor Company. Curt was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having served during WWII and the Korean war. He enjoyed gardening, lawn work and watching wrestling. Curt was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be dearly missed.
