Darline G. (Nowicki) Seligman, age 78, of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 25, 2011.

She is survived by three loving Children;

Kathleen (Dan) Schell of St. John,

Charles (Carolyn) Seligman of Munster and

Pamela Seligman of Hammond;

Grandchildren: Kelly (Mike) Filkowski; Samantha, Amanda (Fiancé Matt Lemus), Jessica and Rebecca Seligman; Christine (Justin) Wright; Zachary (Fiance Marina Michna)Wajovda; Matthew Wajvoda and Jacob Bell;

three great grandchildren: Braden Wright, Morgan and Meredith Filkowski;

two sisters: Virginia (Harold) Koonce and Patricia (Late James) Carter; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Willis Seligman; parents, Leon and Sophie Nowicki and one brother, Richard Nowicki.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 with prayers at 9.30a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 6525 Kentucky Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Father Larry Kew celebrant. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond . Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 4pm until 8pm.

Darline was lifelong resident of the Hessville section of Hammond. She and her late husband Willis were faithful parishoners at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Darline was an avid bowler and was a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
