David L. Payton II, age 49, of Hammond passed away suddenly on Friday, April 21, 2017.
He is survived by his two children: Dillion and Alexis Payton and their mother April Goatley; fiancée Tiffany Hetrick; one brother: Jeffrey Clemens; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents: David and Carolyn Payton; one brother: Robert Clemens.

David born and raised in Hammond and attended Morton High School. He loved listening to and singing country music and earned the nickname Country.
