David James Russo, age 50, of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.

He is survived by his loving parents: Kenneth and Carol Kotlarz (nee Haack); sister, Cindy (Andy) Terzarial; brother Kenneth M. Kotlarz Jr., three nieces, one nephew several great nieces, nephews and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his grandparents; Arthur and Mildred Haack, uncle Arthur Haack and aunt Violet Bartlett.

Celebration of Life Services and cremation were private.

David was born in Chicago, IL on June 7, 1964. He was a graduate of Morton High School class of 1982. He was a proud member of the American Legion Post 232 S.A.L. David was a kind man who dearly loved his family, and would always help people whenever there was a need. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family.
