Deanna Faye Asher, age 68, of Hammond went home to meet her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 13, 2015.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Troy Asher;

2 children: Michael Asher and

Tamara (Albert) Trajkovski;

5 Grandchildren: Hayley Frances Asher, Michael Asher II, Kyle, Dakota and Colton Trajkovski;

mother, Frances Croft;

sister, Regina (Roger) Westmoreland;

nephew, Nathaniel Westmoreland and one great niece; Ava "Rosebud"Westmoreland;

uncle, Leon (Erah) Croft and numerous dear friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Raymond Croft and 2 uncles: Forrest and Rev. Bradley Bullock.

Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) for a time of visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cole Chapel Cemetery in Christian County, Kentucky with Pastors Richard Westmoreland and Steve Epley officiating. Burial will follow the service.

Deanna has been a faithful member of Zion Holiness Church since she moved to Hammond in 1959. She worked for many years as a secretary at Hammond High School. Deanna was very creative and made many beautiful quilts for her family and friends. She was a great cook and an avid reader.

Deanna was a devoted wife, a kind and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend who will be dearly missed.
