Deborah "Debbie" Somerville

Deborah J. Somerville age 61, of Hessville passed away after a lenghty illness on Wednesday, September 30, 2015.

She is survived by two brothers; James (Robin) Somerville and Thomas Somerville; two nieces: Jody (Steve) Hansen and Julie (Robert) Tayler, four great nepews and one aunt Colleen (William) Nelson. Several cousins and many dear friends. Preceded in death by her parents David and Marie Somerville and a sister Judith Faitak. Debbie has worked at the Main Branch of the Hammond Public Library for the past 38 years. She was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a proud member of the American Legion Auxillary.

Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Sunday October 4, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at Bocken Funeral Home. Private cremation and burial at Calumet Park Cemetery will follow.
