Delores Marie Vitullo, age 66, of Hammond, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, George John Vitullo;

3 children: George David Vitullo,

Irene Janowiak,

Ken (Shirley) Vitullo;

5 grandchildren: Amanda Vitullo, Jessica Garrett, Jason Vitullo, Kenneth and James Vitullo;

2 great-grandchildren: Kayliana Degenais and Richard Stansu, Jr;

3 sisters: Nancy (Randy) Kelley, Barbara Hargis,

Anna VanLinden;

Brother, Joseph VanLinden;

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; including her devoted nieces and nephews from Virginia.

Preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Rose and grandmother, Weltha Rose.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 12:00 p.m.(Noon) at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Joe Best officiating. A time of visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Delores was born and raised in Muskegon, MI and has lived in Hammond for the past 32 years. She is a faithful member of Cline Avenue Fellowship Church, where she served as the church custodian. Delores loved nature and enjoyed working in her garden and growing flowers. She was a HAM operator, general class KC9SQC.

Delores adored her grandchildren and watching them play sports was her favorite pastime. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt who will be dearly missed.
