Demilio Isaac Alvarez, age 19, of Hammond, passed away  on Monday, September 23, 2013 as the result of a tragic auto accident.
He is survived by his loving parents, Yolanda Delgado and Jose Anthony Alvarez;
4 sisters: Chawntana Alvarez,
Briyana Alvarez,
Alexandrea Delgado and Celena Alvarez;
2 brothers: Jose Alvarez and Jonathan Ingram-Trout;
grandparents: Jaime and Mary Delgado,
Steve and Christine Regalado;
Great grandparents, Frank and Josephine Lucio;
Many  aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Teofilo and Alicia Alvarez.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville).
Private cremation will follow.
Friends are invited to meet with the family for a time of visitation on Thursday, September 26th at Bocken Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Demilio was born on May 25, 1994 in Munster and was a Hammond resident. He graduated from Morton High School, class of 2013 where he participated in football. He was employed at Jobpro,LLC  and worked in the environment services department. Demilio was a member of the Woodmar United Methodist Church and was active in their youth department. His favorite pastimes were drawing and playing video games with his family and many friends. Demilio was a loving and compassionate son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the family.
