Dimple Mae Stahl, age 74, of LaPorte, IN, formerly of Hessville, passed away on Monday April 29, 2013.
She is survived by her 2 children: James (Angie) McElroy and Arthur Stahl;
3 step-children: Mary Beth Stahl, Gary (Rhonda) Stahl, and Linda (Donald) Stover;
2 grandchildren: Cody and Lexa Stahl;
2 brothers: Eldon (Martha) Reynolds and Leymond (Dotty) Reynolds;
1 sister, Virginia Cartwright;
Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
Preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Gary A. Stahl;
parents, Grady and Thelma Reynolds; sister, Linda Stewart.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. from Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Dan Nichols , Minister officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday May 3, 2013 at Bocken Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
Dimple was born in Greenville, Kentucky on February 24, 1939 and moved to the Hessville section of Hammond 50 years ago. She was a long time resident of the area before moving to LaPorte in 2009. Dimple enjoyed cooking, painting, reading, gardening and bird watching. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed. Memorials to American Diabetes Association in her memory would be appreciated.
