Donald Henderson, age 96, of Hammond entered the gates of heaven on Monday, November 6, 2023.

He is survived by his daughters: Kathy (Richard) Farman and Joy (Bobby) Reba; 3 Grandchildren: Tonika, Eric and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Trenton, Taylor, Miranda, Natalie, Valerie and Cassidy; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Benjamin

Donald was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Elizabeth Pauline Henderson; and Parents: Joseph and Rosalie Henderson, as well as his beloved four-legged companion: Stella.

Private graveside service followed by burial will be held at Chapel Hill Garden South Cemetery in Worth, IL

Donald was a resident of Hammond, where he had spent most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family as well as taking care of his pets. Donald was a veteran of the Air Force during WWII.
