Donna Jean Kimmel, age 81, of Hammond, entered her heavenly home on Friday, April 3, 2015.

She is survived by her 3 children:

Daniel (Barbara) Relinski, Jeff (LaVaughn Stewart) Relinski,

Pam (Steven) Petho;

3 grandchildren: Ashley (Matt) Siegfried, Lindsey Relinski and Skylar Petho;

1 great grandchild, Jami Lynn Siegfried;

2 brothers: Paul and David Petrosky

1 sister, Alice (late Robert) Groszewski;

family friend Joe Carnell Sr.

Many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Preceded in death by her husbands: Harold J. Relinski and Jay P. Kimmel Sr.; daughter-in-law, Jami Relinski and parents Paul and Lottie Petroskey.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Pastor Scott Ferry officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family at Bocken Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Donna was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a 1951 graduate of Hammond Tech High School. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Donna enjoyed drawing, painting; she loved to sew and work on stained glass. She loved children and "adopted" each and everyone that came to her door. She was a caring and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
