Edward "Ed" John Malatinka, age 48 of Hammond, passed away suddenly on, Sunday, August 21, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Terri E. Malatinka (Nee Morey). 2 children; Rachel and Eddie Malatinka.

A memorial service to celebrate Ed's life will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville), Father Charles Mosley, officiating. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, August 24th at Bocken Funeral Home, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m..
Ed was a lifetime resident of Hammond. He is a 1981 Graduate of Morton High School and a parishioner of Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church. He was an avid fisher, hunter and trapper. Ed was a member of  the Fish and Wildlife Association,The American Riffle Association and Ducks Unlimited. He was a very loving husband, father, son and friend, he will be dearly missed. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
