Efrain Galindo, age 64 of Hammond received his angel wings on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 while surrounded by his loving family in his home.

He is survived by his two daughters: Melissa Galindo and Diana Galindo; two sons: Daniel Galindo and Fabian Galindo; daughter in-law, Regina Galindo; ten grandchildren; many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends

Efrain was born in Mexico and moved to Chicago when he was a teenager. He was an employee of the Ford Motor Company for 33 years then retired. He was the most amazing loving and funny father anyone could have. Efrain would give anyone the shirt off his back and was the most loyal person and friend. He loved music and dancing and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. Efrian was a devoted father, grandfather and friend with a the biggest heart who will be missed by many. He will long be remembered as a beautiful human being.           A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville). Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home with father Charles Mosley officiating. Burial at St. John Cemetery in Hammond will follow.
