Elaine C. Evanich, age 76 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 12, 2011.

She is survived by 2 sons, Brian Evanich and Warren L. Evanich; 3 grandchildren, Eric Erin, Christine Claire and Warren Randall Evanich

2 sisters, Christine Koontz and Ruth Ann (John) Tomaszewski

Many nieces, nephews and cousins, including nephew, Jason Koontz

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bernard Louis Evanich; son, Randell J. Evanich and twin sons, Lawrence and Terrance Evanich; parents, Robert C. and Marguerite Campbell and one brother, Bob Campbell

Elaine was a lifetime resident of Hammond and a longtime faithful member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. She enjoyed bingo, baking, crocheting and was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. Elaine was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. As per her wishes Elaine was cremated. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.  at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7137 Arizona Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) with Father Charles Mosley celebrant. The family is requesting that memorials be made in her memory to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 7137 Arizona Ave. Hammond, IN 46323.
