Eleanor Marie Baldin

Eleanor Marie Baldin, age 72, of Delphi, IN, formerly of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at White County Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She is survived by her brother, Richard (Cynthia) Baldin of Strongsville, OH;
Sister, JoAnne Baldin of Hammond;
2 sisters-in-law, Luise (late, Anthony)Baldin of Schererville and Sally (late, Joseph)Baldin of Portage;
Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Emil Baldin and 2 brothers Anthony and Joseph Baldin.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service at 6:00 p.m. Deacon Michael Halas will officiate. Committal service will be held on Saturday, December 29th at 10:00 a.m. at Bocken Funeral Home followed by burial at St. John-St. Joseph Cemetery in Hammond.
Eleanor was born on May 15, 1940 in East Chicago, IN and attended Hammond Tech High School. She was employed for CDC Resources in Monticello. Eleanor loved to sing and had a beautiful singing voice. She was a thoughtful, kind and generous person who was dearly loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
